Before you invest thousands
of dollars in your home,
you deserve to know what
that money will buy. An
“estimate”
implies that the quoted
price and specifications
are approximate.
That uncertainty is
often times an opportunity
for hidden charges to
suddenly appear. Additional
work that you may have
assumed to be part of
the project, may in
fact have not even been
considered in the contractor’s
price or estimate.
At Artisan Home Services,
we strive to be as detailed
and specific in our
quote as we can in order
to give you a clear
picture of what we’ll
do for the price. That’s
our VALUE PLEDGE.
It’s why we prefer
to call our quotes FREE
PROPOSALS instead
of “Free Estimates”.
It’s also why
we won’t quote
a price over the phone
or on a business card.
In
order to
provide
you with
the information
you need
to make
an informed
decision
about improving
your home,
Artisan
Home Services
will:
- Come
to your
home ready
to listen,
ask questions,
tell you
about
the company
and our
staff
and take
measurements
- We’ll
then go
back to
the office
and work
out the
pricing,
prepare
drawings
if necessary
and prepare
a detailed
written
proposal
for the
work.
- We’ll
come back
to your
home with
our proposal,
drawings
and samples
as needed,
and photographs
of similar
job if
available.
If there
are any
details
that we
missed
or that
you thought
of in
the interim,
or if
the proposal
needs
adjusting, we’ll
make notes
of them.
- When
a final
agreement
is reached,
we provide
an estimated
start
and completion
date,
and proportion
out the
payments
over the
course
of the
project.
- All
changes
from there
on are
agreed
to in
writing
as the
job is
being
completed
